Value

How do you define value?

Each decision maker has their own style. When we look for a product, we usually look at cost first. Don’t we? After looking at different makes of the same type of product, we set a budget amount. We then look for what fits our needs (or usually our wants if it is a consumer based product). Where does value come to play? Value is many things to many people. For some, it’s the cheapest price for the most options. For others, it is the results from using a product that can boost sales, efficiency, and communications within a company. The true value in a business system isn’t realized at the sale, design, or installation phase. It’s understood in the usage by your staff, and the results they receive. It is realized when the employees are properly trained, when their questions are answered, when the light bulbs of understanding turn on, and when they truly buy-off on a system. It is when they know they have a good thing, a tool to make them more efficient and better at what they do.

Now that’s Value!
