The global economy, it’s in landslide turmoil. But, how do you feel?
Most individuals and businesses are experiencing a roller coaster ride of monetary emotions. The doom and gloom in the air has evaporated our hope, and our determination. However bad it is or becomes, the economy will turn around.
A sense of urgency.
Will you fold, or will you hold?
Unless you think America is going into bankruptcy, most well run businesses will still be here a year from now. That means adapting to the current market, and getting that all important foot in front of your competition, is crucially important. Don’t sit back now, and wait to see what will happen tomorrow. Don’t burry your cash roll under your company mattress. Yet, don’t squander it either. Hold on to a cash reserve, and then invest the rest back into your business! Now is your time to have an extreme sense of urgency to do all your business can do to be better. Be better than your competition. Work smarter! Work easier. Be easier for your clients to work with! Be more customer savvy! Invest in the future! Invest!
Finding your business potential.
Don’t squander your capital, and by all means do not squander your business potential!
Did you know that your number one most important resource you have, is your employees? They know it, so should you. It’s within your employees that you will find your company’s hidden business potential. The potential to shine bright, to elevate your business above the rest in times of uncertainty.
Where to go from here? Ask them! What takes up their time. What hinders their performance. What great ideas might they share with you. Take their input and pull the best content forward. Guide new ideas into processes with your leadership. Invest in technologies to harness their greatest gift to the company: their skill sets. If a system operates to slowly, upgrade it. If your phones are dropping 40% of your calls, replace them. If your marketing materials are outdated, revamp them. Virtualize your technology. Bring in the newest, most powerful communications tools you can afford. Push your business potential envelope as far as your will can drive it!
Now is your time. You must have an immediate sense of urgency to realize and fulfill your business potential now! Before the other businesses around you use this same economic slingshot in their favor.
